Welcome to Emu Rhythm Ltd. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services, including tour bookings, accommodation, and cultural experiences. By accessing our website or booking any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Payment Policy
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, as specified for each tour or service.
1.1. Deposits
For most multi-day tours, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour cost is required to secure your booking. This deposit is due within 7 days of confirmation.
1.2. Final Payment
The remaining balance for your booking is due no later than 60 days prior to the commencement of your tour or experience. Failure to pay by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund of the deposit.
1.3. Payment Methods
We accept payments via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and bank transfer. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise specified.
1.4. Last-Minute Bookings
Bookings made less than 60 days before the tour start date require full payment at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 90 days prior to departure: Loss of deposit.
- 61-90 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour cost.
- 31-60 days prior to departure: 75% of the total tour cost.
- 0-30 days prior to departure or no-show: 100% of the total tour cost.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover unforeseen circumstances requiring cancellation.
3. Liability Waiver
Participants acknowledge and accept that eco-tourism activities, particularly those in natural and remote environments, inherently involve certain risks and dangers. These can include, but are not limited to, uneven terrain, wildlife encounters, unpredictable weather conditions, and personal injury.
By booking and participating in Emu Rhythm Ltd tours and experiences, you voluntarily assume all such risks. Emu Rhythm Ltd, its employees, guides, and agents will not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, loss, or expense sustained by participants arising from any cause whatsoever, unless caused by the proven negligence of Emu Rhythm Ltd.
A separate liability waiver form may be required to be signed prior to some activities.
4. Code of Conduct on Tours
To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and sustainable experience for all participants and to protect the delicate Australian environment, all guests must adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Respect for Nature: Do not disturb wildlife, remove natural items, or litter. Stay on designated paths.
- Local Culture: Show respect for Indigenous culture and local communities. Follow guide instructions regarding cultural sites.
- Guide's Authority: Follow all instructions and decisions made by your Emu Rhythm Ltd guide, whose primary concern is your safety and enjoyment.
- Health & Safety: Inform your guide of any medical conditions or concerns. Participate responsibly and remain aware of your surroundings.
- Group Harmony: Be considerate of other group members. Minimize noise and respect personal space.
Emu Rhythm Ltd reserves the right to remove any participant from a tour or activity if their behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of this code, with no refund provided.
